PiXXelFiXX is yet another spare time pursuit of one of my first multimedia hobbies; Video restoration. The intention of this is digitally restoring, cleaning up and archiving my collection of Concert and Music Videos from DVD, VHS and Satellite capture sources. I’m posting some of my restoration attempts here for fellow music lovers and concert affectionados. Yes, much of this stuff is on YouTube already in various forms but where’s the fun in that!!?? As far as copyright I’m not a license zealot so what you see here are my editing, compilation and restoration efforts but I have no ownership of the performances and present the works “all rights reserved” by the original artists/publishers. These are posted as “fair use” and for historical and educational reference and are not available for sale or download from here. If there is a question or concern of copyright infringement I will be happy to remove the offending content. If you enjoy the musical works of the featured artists then consider supporting, purchasing or streaming their works on the commercial platforms where they are provided.

“THREE KINGS” – A fan letter to Albert, BB and Freddie King along with many special guests.

“On Film – Grand Funk Railroad at Madison Square Garden 1972” – A phenomenal concert at the peak of their powers that was televised but never released. This footage was reclaimed from badly damaged VHS sources and improved and enhanced as much as possible. This is the full concert with some minor edits and if Grand Funk at their prime wasn’t enough the intermission set features the legendary Freddie King!

“On Film – The Grand Funk Railroad Funkthology” A chronological overview of the career of Grand Funk Railroad from 1969-1999 stitched together from Documentary footage, bootlegs and released material. This collection covers their meteoric rise after the Atlanta Pop Festival, legal issues with former manager Terry Knight, their breakup in 1976 up to their short-lived reunion from 1996-1999.
