AV Linux and MX Moksha 25.1 Released!

Updated 25.1 ISOs for AV Linux and MX Moksha have been released. These are not new OS versions, simply freshened up ISOs with updates and minor bugfixes. Existing Users of AVL and MXM 25 will get most updates through the Repos and for external Applications and Plugins any updates will be available in the BSRPKG and MX_MOKSHA Web Folders. 

AV LINUX CHANGELOG:

  • Synced to Debian Trixie 13.3 and MX 25.1.
  • Updated Liquorix 6.18.13 Kernel with threadirqs enabled.
  • Changes to default ‘Ease’ theme, also some newly added wallpapers.
  • Ardour DAW on the ISO has been updated to a nightly 9.2.18 build.
  • Cable PipeWire frontend updated to 0.9.28. *Thanks magill and Stevo
  • Plugin updates to Noise-Repellent and Drumlabooh.
  • An updated Cinelerra-GG Debian package replaces the previously provided AppImage.
  • A few new fonts in the ‘fontastic’ Package.
  • A new File Action to play DVD ISO files directly in MPV.
  • Added FreeFactoryQT, a comprehensive ffmpeg frontend with useful real-world production minded conversion presets. *Thanks to Jim Hines
  • Fixed MX-Cleanup not removing unused WiFi modules. *Thanks Adrian

 

MX MOKSHA CHANGELOG:

  • Synced to Debian Trixie 13.3 and MX 25.1.
  • Updated Liquorix 6.18.13 Kernel with threadirqs enabled.
  • Update to Moksha 0.4.2. *Thanks to Stefan and Robert from Bodhi Linux!
  • Fixes to GTK4 theme colors in Gnome apps. *Thanks to Stefan.
  • Screenshot module from Enlightenment ported to Moksha. *Thanks to Stefan.
  • New File Action to play DVD ISO files directly in MPV.
  • Cable PipeWire frontend updated to 0.9.28. *Thanks magill and Stevo.
  • Fixed duplicate versions of yt-dlp, please use the provided File Action in the Accessories menu.
  • Fixed MX-Cleanup not removing unused WiFi modules. *Thanks Adrian.
